CNC Setup Machinist

Shifts Available
  • 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | OT Available
  • 3rd Shift | Monday – Saturday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM | OT Available

Compensation:
Competitive Salary + 15% Shift Differential + OT Available + Benefits & 401k Day #1

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC machines (2-axis through 5-axis and multi-axis equipment)
  • Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
  • Select and install tooling, fixtures, collets, chucks, and machine offsets
  • Produce precision‑machined components to tight aerospace tolerances
  • Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using precision measuring tools
  • Make offset adjustments and minor program edits
  • Monitor tool wear and machining conditions for efficiency and consistency
  • Troubleshoot machining, tooling, setup, and programming issues
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 aerospace quality standards
  • Maintain accurate production, inspection, and quality documentation
  • Support continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity
What You Bring
  • 3+ years CNC machining experience (setup and operation required)
  • Experience setting up and operating CNC mills, lathes, and multi-axis machining centers (2-axis through 5-axis preferred)
  • Aerospace or high‑precision machining background strongly preferred
  • Strong blueprint reading and GD&T interpretation skills
  • Experience holding tight tolerances (±0.0005” or better preferred)
  • Skilled with micrometers, calipers, indicators, and inspection tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
