Job Overview
We are seeking a Stamping Press Operator for our 2nd shift team in Chester, CT. The role begins with training on the first shift for the first few weeks and then transitions to second shift hours of 3:30 PM to 12 AM. Salary ranges from $43,680 to $49,920 per year.
Responsibilities- Daily production and quality control of parts manufactured on hobbing, forming, lockbar, and component stamping presses, including simple and complex die changes.
- Produce required quantities within established specifications and tolerances.
- Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools to ensure compliance with functional, quality, and cosmetic standards.
- Perform routine quality checks and make necessary adjustments, including on hobbed parts.
- Inspect equipment prior to use for proper setup and alignment; perform basic adjustments and routine maintenance.
- Maintain accurate production logs, including output and rejected or discarded pieces.
- Maintain required efficiency rates.
- Set up forming and lockbar stamping tools.
- Ensure compliance with all safety requirements.
- Keep work area clean and organized.
- Demonstrate organizational skills.
- Maintain punctual attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed.

- Minimum 3 years of experience operating stamping presses.
- Experienced level.
Shift: Second shift (3:30 PM – 12 AM). No degree required.
