The primary function of an Assembly Lead is to visually inspect built product; tag and scan built product to a finished goods location and train new assemblers. This position reports to the Assembly Manager/Assembly Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities- Tag and scan built product to a finished goods location
- Train new builders
- Visually inspect all built product for general defects
- Acquire replacement parts for damaged pieces
- Gather information for builders production rate
- Classify built product as Finished Goods, Clearance, Special Inspection, Trash
- May assist Manager/Supervisor in creating Assembly Reports
- Solid knowledge and competence on WMS scanner gun
- 2-3 years of assembly experience
- Ability to identify product
- Good verbal and listening skills
- Strong interpersonal and human relations skills
- WMS working knowledge
- Assembly experience
Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:
Starting at $24+ an hour (based on experience)
