We are seeking experienced CNC Machinists with hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC Milling machines
, including Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) and Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs). The ideal candidate will be skilled in machine setup, tooling, offsets, and producing precision components to quality specifications.
- Set up and operate CNC Milling Machines, HMCs, and VMCs
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, work offsets, and first-piece inspections
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements
- Manufacture precision aerospace components to tight tolerances
- Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and other precision measuring tools
- Make tooling and program adjustments to maintain quality and production standards
- Troubleshoot machining and tooling issues and implement corrective actions
- Monitor tooling performance and identify opportunities for process improvement
- Accurately complete production, inspection, and quality documentation
- Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to meet customer expectations and delivery schedules
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Minimum 2 years of CNC machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Experience setting up and operating CNC Milling machines, including Horizontal Machining Centers (HMCs) and Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications.
- Experience with tooling selection, fixture setup, and precision measurement equipment.
- Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Mazatrol, Okuma, Makino, Mori Seiki, or similar controls
- Multi-axis machining experience (4-axis/5-axis)
- CNC programming or G-code editing experience
- CAM software experience
- Technical machining education or apprenticeship background
