Fluoropolymer Resources LLC (FRL) is currently seeking a dedicated results driven Maintenance Technician in our North Windham, CT location. Position Summary:As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for maintaining the equipment in the facility to include; all manufacturing process equipment, warehouse equipment, and office area. You will be responsible for all mechanical and electrical repairs.
Responsibilities and Duties- Troubleshooting plastic shredding, grinding, blending, extrusion, and other machines and processes.
- Defining parts that need to be ordered after troubleshooting is complete.
- Maintain inventories of tools, spare parts, and consumable supplies.
- Requisition tools, spare parts, and consumable supplies.
- Ability to read and understand machine drawings, building prints, electrical and plumbing schematics.
- Develop preventative maintenance program for all equipment & facility related equipment.
- Perform equipment installations as required and defined by Engineering.
- Have experience in welding, plumbing, electrical, compressed air, and working with process controls.
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and facility.
- Operation of forklift and scissor lift as required.
