The Four Slide Set Up / Operator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Plantsville, CT. This role is responsible for setting up, adjusting, and operating fourslide machinery to produce parts according to engineering drawings, quality standards, and production schedules. Day-to-day tasks include installing tooling and fixtures, performing test runs, verifying part dimensions, and making machine adjustments to maintain consistent output.

The operator will monitor equipment performance, perform routine maintenance and cleaning, and identify potential mechanical or process issues to minimize downtime. Additional responsibilities include completing production documentation, collaborating with quality and engineering teams, and following all safety procedures and company policies.

• Experience with fourslide or similar forming equipment, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting of mechanical production machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, part drawings, and work instructions; basic understanding of tolerances and quality requirements.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools, measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges), and basic maintenance practices.
• Attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and capability to monitor product quality and make necessary adjustments.
• Commitment to workplace safety, adherence to standard operating procedures, and consistency in following manufacturing best practices.
• Reliable time management skills, ability to work on-site in a production environment, and readiness to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in metal forming, stamping, wire forming, or precision manufacturing is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in manufacturing or machining is a plus.
