Time Orthopedic Physician Assistant​/Nurse Practitioner - Sharon, CT

Position Overview

The Orthopedic Surgery Service at Sharon Hospital, now part of Northwell, is seeking a board-certified full‑time Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner. The role is primarily outpatient with occasional inpatient coverage supporting Orthopedics, General Surgery, and Urology.

Deliver patient care within the orthopaedic surgery service, including pre‑operative, post‑operative, and ongoing management. Work collaboratively with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to provide high‑quality care.

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program and NCCPA certified, or a registered Nurse Practitioner with RNF certification.
• Strong surgical and patient‑management experience.
• Preference for 1–3 years of surgical experience or surgical residency training; new graduates and new nurse practitioners with surgical experience will also be considered.

Salary Range: $105,000 – $150,000 per year.
