We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners with urgent care, emergency room, or acute family medicine experience to provide clinical services in our urgent care setting.
Job SummaryUrgent care Advanced Practitioners (Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) provide a wide variety of clinical services including treatment of acute episodic conditions such as sore throats, colds, flu‑like symptoms, cuts, sprains, and minor infections. They function alongside physicians, assessing patients to identify serious conditions and directing them to the emergency department when necessary.
Responsibilities- Examining and treating patients
- Taking patients’ medical histories
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and X‑rays
- Making diagnoses and prescribing medications
- Treating minor injuries requiring sutures, splints, or casting
- Recording progress notes for follow‑up patients
- Educating and counseling patients
- Ordering and/or carrying out therapy with patients
- Giving vaccinations and referring patients to additional care
- Education:
Bachelor's degree required for Physician Assistants;
Master’s degree required for Nurse Practitioners - Work Experience:
One year of full‑time experience in Emergency Medicine or Urgent Care; alternatively 2 years in Family Medicine - Licenses/Certifications:
National certification, active state medical licensure
- Preferred:
Electronic Medical Records experience - Strong listening and communication skills

Providers will work anticipated eight (8) or twelve (12) hour shifts, assigned by authorized representatives. All other duties may be assigned as needed.
