Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic, located in Salem, CT, is dedicated to their patients and client's wellbeing alike! Our team consists of passionate and highly trained individuals who are passionate about what they do. We are a full functioning hospital that offers dental services, diagnostics, surgery, and even equine services. We are a four-doctor, innovative clinic with our General Practice downstairs and Dental Specialty upstairs.

We pride ourselves in providing quality medical care and individualized service with the goal of complete customer satisfaction.

This position will require a candidate that is team oriented, has a positive attitude, is a clear communicator and who enjoys people as well as their furry family members! This position has a four-day work week and no weekends! We can’t wait to show you what we are all about!

Salem Valley Veterinary Clinic in Salem, CT

$17-20.00/hr (based on experience)

• Answerstelephone calls quickly, efficiently, and in a professional and friendly manner using a multi-line system
• Warmly greets clients
• Receives and relays client correspondence and updates client financial records
• Answers client’s inquiries about basic animal care questions and routine procedures
• Educates clients on over-the-counter products such as flea and tick preventions
• Admits patients and handles medical records entries accurately
• Prepares client invoices for services performed
• Receives and relays telephone, fax, and email messages accurately and promptly

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Veterinary Receptionist/CSR is required!
• Significant experience with basic office functions in a busy office environment
  
  Must be a team player and have compassion for pets and their people
