Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Emergency Veterinarian located at our main Hospital kustvoutside of Manchester in Bokton, CT. The Emergency Veterinarian will diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of medical emergencies in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities include triaging, stabilizing, performing diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, executing emergency medical and surgical procedures, and collaborating with the wider medical team to deliver outstanding patient care and communicate with pet owners.

You will have access to state‑of‑the‑art equipment and the opportunity to leverage the expertise of a skilled and supportive team.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in emergency diagnosis and treatment, surgical procedures a plus, and critical care management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and educate pet caregivers
  • Exceptional problem‑solving, attention to detail, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to providing compassionate care and client service
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree
  • Valid veterinary license for practice in the state of Connecticut
  • Experience in an emergency or fast‑paced veterinary setting is a plus
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with veterinary medicine advancements
