What You Will Do- Lead and manage the quality organization to achieve business goals.
- Drive a culture of compliance through collaboration with Operations and Manufacturing teams.
- Build out and develop the Quality team across Inspection, NDT, MRB, Gage Calibration, Metrology, and MCL.
- Obtain and allocate necessary resources (equipment, manpower, etc.) to meet long‑range and near‑term goals.
- Make day‑to‑day operational decisions and oversee resource allocation to meet customer demand.
- Lead process‑improvement opportunities using DMAIC, CORE, and Lean strategies to enhance quality, reduce cycle time, and cut operational costs.
- Provide technical expertise on non‑conforming material and support communication and processing of quality notifications through the MRB process.
- Collaborate with operations and materials teams to ensure alignment with customer demand.
- Define and implement plans to support the business’s Quality, CORE, and financial objectives.
- Maintain effective communication within the quality operations team.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience,
or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of experience. - Demonstrated leadership and management experience.
- Knowledge of AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems.
- Proficiency in quality tools such as FAI, PFMEA, DFMEA, GR&R, GD&T.
- Experience with root‑cause corrective action and elimination of non‑conformances.
- PW quality system experience.
- Practical experience with DMAIC, CORE, Six Sigma, or other Lean systems.
The salary range for this role is 132,400
USD–251,600
USD.
