Perform inspections to assure compliance with Howmet’s Quality System, specifications and customer requirements for industrial and military/aerospace products;
Conduct visual, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections on components, assemblies, and materials;
Inspect in-process production and finished products against drawings and specifications; document corrections and ensure nonconforming items are not delivered;
Inspect incoming materials against drawings and specifications; document rejections and communicate corrective actions;
Maintain inspection records and documentation in accordance with government, customer, and company standards
