Dishwasher; Part Time

Overview

We are hiring immediately for part time DISHWASHER positions at Waveny Care Center, 3 Farm Road, New Canaan, Connecticut 06840.

• Maintains dishes, pots, pans, trays, kitchen, work areas, equipment and utensils in orderly and sanitary condition.
• Scrapes and rinses food from dirty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor to the dishwashing machine, depending on assigned equipment.
• Washes pots, pans and trays according to assigned procedures; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Polishes silver using appropriate methods; ensures complete cleanliness and sanitation.
• Maintains compliance with safety procedures and with temperatures and chemical levels as outlined by standards.
• Keeps dish area orderly and in compliance with safety standards.
• Sweeps and mops kitchen floors; cleans worktables, walls, refrigerators and other food prep surfaces.
• Removes trash and disposes of it in designated containers; log and assist with cleaning as needed.
• Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas; helps load and unload supplies and product.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Schedule:
  
  Part time; days and hours may vary. 24 hours per week.
• Requirements:
  No prior experience required. Willing to train.
• Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour.
