Position Summary
The Attendant/Cashier is responsible for all point of sale and supporting transactions with internal and external Food and Beverage customers.
Primary Duties and Responsibilitiesincludes but not limited to:
Takes guests orders in a timely fashion Responsible for serving, bussing and streamlining service at table and counter seating Actively up sells products and uses endorsements at all appropriate service opportunities
Maintains all legal beverage service guidelines Prepares and breaks down service stations in accordance with dining room standards Assists guests with any general casino information, when needed
Minimum Education and QualificationsAbility to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment Good verbal and written communication skills Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and co-workers in English
CompetenciesIncumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:
Knowledge of spirits, beers, wines, glassware, garnishes and beverage service techniques Knowledge and skill in all check reconciliation procedures including, cash, comps, credit cards, coupons, players club points, vouchers and gift cards
Previous food server or cashiering experience
Physical Demands and Work EnvironmentMust be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent lifting and bending Must be able to work various shifts and flexible hours
