Account Manager, Customer Success Mgr./ CSM, Banking & Finance
Position Overview
As a Personal Banker within PNC's Retail Branch organization, you will be based in Louisville, KY at the English Station Branch. This role is in‑office and focuses on delivering an inclusive workplace culture where all employees feel respected, valued, and have an opportunity to contribute to the company’s success.
ResponsibilitiesAcquires and deepens the branch customer base through proactive sales and service activities. Manages the customer experience by identifying opportunities to improve the customer’s financial well‑being. Collaborates with ecosystem partners to grow the customer’s share of wallet and positions PNC solutions to drive new revenue and loyalty.
Drives proactive sales conversations through a defined sales process, including outbound calling, service to sales, teller interactions, appointment setting, and effective lobby engagement. Delivers a full PNC conversation at every client interaction to identify appropriate solutions and leverages community Centers of Influence and ecosystem partnerships to acquire, expand, and retain relationships.
Performs lobby engagement to connect with customers and position PNC products. Educates customers on options for managing financial transactions using technology, tools, and resources. Applies product knowledge to solve customer problems, manages risk through adherence to policies, and demonstrates sound judgment within established limits. Participates in branch daily operations to ensure efficient and accurate completion of tasks.
Qualifications- Experience in banking or related customer‑service role (minimum 3+ years preferred)
- Associates degree or equivalent education and experience; alternatively, comparable combination of education, certification, and experience may be considered
- Knowledge of PNC products and procedures, and ability to leverage technology to improve customer experience
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and multi‑priority management skills
- Proactive sales competence, including outbound calling, appointment setting, and lobby engagement
- Ability to assess and manage risk in line with Enterprise Risk Management Framework
