Sales Executive – Security Events

Are you an experienced B2B sales professional with a passion for events? Would you like to take your career to the next level with a leading global trade show and event organizer? We are looking for a Sales Executive to join our Security portfolio of shows.

About the Team

ISC is a well-established brand and a highly respected event within the security industry. It is the largest physical security event in North America. We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Executive within our Security portfolio.

About the Role

The Sales Executive will join a highly experienced team with deep knowledge in the physical and cyber security industry. You will prospect for new business and develop existing accounts within your territory, selling booth space, promotional opportunities and digital products to help customers showcase their brand and exceed their goals for the show.

Responsibilities
  • Develop individual selling strategy with Sales Management.
  • Generate prospects and maintain pipeline to achieve sales targets for booth and media sales.
  • Adhere to selling process best practices and standards, including accurate data entry, territory management, daily output goals, and weekly strike rates.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, climate, players, distribution and issues to make recommendations regarding sales strategy on specific events.
  • Sell at competing shows and prepare show analysis and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Manage and broaden Exhibitor Prospect Lists and generate targeted lists to increase probability of sales.
  • Forecast revenue projections.
  • Obtain signed contracts and ensure payments for all space reservations are made in full and on time.
Requirements
  • Prior B2B sales experience.
  • Experience with cold calling and prospecting for new business.
  • Ability to grow existing customers’ spend through sponsorship opportunities and booth upgrades.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to communicate and present professionally.
  • Value-based selling approach that delivers solutions for clients.
  • Well-developed organizational skills with ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Quick learning and utilization of sales data systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Salesforce, Word, PowerPoint).

Salary for this role ranges from $59,600 to $99,300 annually, with possible geographic differentials. Base pay and variable compensation will vary by sales role.
