We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Outside Sales Representative to join our team to promote our services and products. In this role, you will have a company vehicle to service the Construction, Municipalities' and Automotive industries in CT, and generate leads, attract new clients, and close deals. Your responsibilities will include, visiting customers, submitting sales reports, building rapport with new and existing customers within your protected territory, evaluating their needs, and negotiating successful deals.
The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, exceptional customer service and negotiation skills, and a strong desire to close deals. This sales position is a Monday thru Friday CT base position where you start and end the workday from our company location. (no overnight hotels).
- Develop rapport and build relationships with existing and potential customers
- Travel to appointments and meetings with potential and existing customers within your territory
- Meet or exceed designated sales targets
- Create and implement an effective sales strategy
- Document all leads, sales, and customer interactions in customer relationship management (CRM) program
- Use best practices in negotiation and sales techniques to close sales
- High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in outside sales
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude and ability to be persistent
