Market Development Specialist – Job Overview

Full‑time Market Development Specialist position focused on outside sales. Responsibilities include traveling to local businesses, consulting on workplace products, showcasing the full range of offerings, and collaborating with inside sales and onboarding teams.

Your day will be full of energy, connection, and opportunity. You'll start by hitting the road – on foot or by car – exploring your assigned territory and introducing local businesses to everything W.B. Mason has to offer. With flyers in hand and a consultative mindset, you'll meet with potential clients, uncover their needs, and show them how our full range of workplace products and services can make their lives easier.

You'll demonstrate products, share web tools, offer custom pricing, and help new customers get set up through MasonvilleGO. Along the way, you'll work closely with inside sales and our onboarding teams to ensure every new account is smoothly transitioned. Regular branch sales meetings provide support to grow your market and your outside sales career.

• Experience in customer service, retail sales, or related fields
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Physical ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs

• $65,000 – $70,000 annually with bonus opportunities
