Garda World Security Services is hiring a Tactical Security Officer. The role is focused on reading the environment, anticipating risk, and responding promptly. Strong observational skills and the ability to act decisively are essential.

• Competitive hourly wage: $22 per hour

• Respond swiftly and professionally to emergency situations, including disturbances, threats, and potential criminal activity.
• Monitor access points and conduct security checks on vehicles and personnel.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and other security personnel to address incidents or security concerns.
• Enforce all company regulations, policies, and procedures while interacting with the public courteously and professionally.
• Provide detailed written reports documenting all incidents and observations accurately and promptly.

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• 21 years old or older
• High School Diploma or GED
• CT State Security Guard License endorsement
• Current immunizations or ability to obtain all required immunizations
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• First aid certification considered an asset
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a background check and drug screening conducted after an offer of employment is extended.
