* Position Summary:

** A Welder is responsible for joining metal parts using welding techniques and equipment, fabricating and maintaining structures, and ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards.

* Key Responsibilities:

* ** Fabrication and Assembly:*
* + Interpret and execute blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to fabricate products.

+ Weld components using methods such as MIG, TIG, SMAW, or flux-cored arc welding.

** Equipment Operation and Maintenance:*
* + Operate welding equipment and related tools.

+ Inspect and maintain equipment, ensuring safe operations.

** Quality Assurance:*
* + Assess welded joints for precision and adherence to specifications.

+ Identify and repair weld defects using grinding and cutting tools.

** Safety Practices:*
* + Adhere to all workplace safety standards and protocols.

+ Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment.

** Continuous Improvement:*
* + Identify areas for process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality.

+ Participate in training and certifications to stay updated with industry practices.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $23.30 - $29.90. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
