DeVivo Companies currently has an opening for a full-time Transport Refrigeration Technician at our Windsor Locks, CT location.

- Compensation of $/hour
- Perform preventive maintenance & service inspections on a variety of transport refrigeration units (TRU) & auxiliary power units (APU)
- Perform diagnostic, repair work on mobile refrigeration equipment, auxiliary power units & heater equipment
- Follow established technical & administrative processes
- Complete repair orders & parts usage forms
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, team members & customers
- Remain current on technical & regulation requirements
- Perform road service calls as required
- Experience in the field of refrigeration/HVAC equipment installation and/or repair
- Skills to sufficiently install, diagnose and repair refrigeration equipment
- Demonstrate technical knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, materials, methods & equipment to perform, prioritize and complete job assignments
- Own & maintain the proper hand tools to perform job functions
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical trade school a plus
- Proficient with computer operation/usage
- Valid driver’s license
To have or be willing to earn EPA 608/609 refrigeration certifications is a big plus!
