Full Time Class IV New Haven, CT, West Haven, CT, US

Provides abatement and demolition services to various projects involving asbestos, lead, mold, PCP’s, interior demolition, and structural demolition. Must follow specific directions, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow all safety procedures. Must work well in a team environment, perform tasks efficiently and follow directions.

• Asbestos abatement, lead, mold, and PCPs in various settings and environments.
• Perform interior demolitions of various spaces and demolish various structures and buildings.
• Work from heights, in confined spaces, in hot environments and under adverse conditions.
• Use various hand tools safely and effectively, powered tools, lifting devices and material movers.
• Travel to job locations.
• Lift over 20 lbs.
• Pass a background check.

• Experience in the remediation and demolition industry.
• Certified/Licensed in asbestos abatement.
• 10 Hour OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) Certification.
• Strong English communication skills.

High School education, GED or equivalent.

The employee could be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. Must be able to walk across rugged terrain, climb substantial heights, and work over and on water. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly requires work in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The incumbent occasionally lifts heavy objects, walks, and stands for extended periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects; uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue.

The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination. The position requires the ability to quickly move arms and legs.

This is a full‑time position. The position occasionally requires long hours, holidays, and weekend work.

Travel as required for project support.
