Facilities Electrician – 1st Shift (Onsite)

Pratt & Whitney is seeking an on‑site Facilities Electrician to perform electrical construction or maintenance work necessary to install and repair electrical systems and interrelated components as per standardized methods, applicable codes and engineering specifications in the assigned area.

• Install, test, and repair electrical systems and components.
• Read and interpret complex drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Use shop mathematics to perform calculations.
• Follow standard construction methods and applicable codes.
• Maintain safety and quality standards in all work.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to read complex drawings and schematic diagrams.
• Proficiency with shop mathematics.
• Understanding of solid‑state devices.
• Equivalent to 2‑3 years of trade training plus 2‑3 years of experience.

• Knowledge of electricity and electronics, A.C. and D.C. circuits.
• Experience with various phase power and distribution systems.
• Working knowledge of electrical code for industrial work, including hazardous areas.
• Priority consideration for internal candidates under the Pratt & Whitney IAM Bargaining Unit.
