INTRODUCTION

UConn’s Facilities Operations Department has a job opening for a Maintenance Supervisor 1 – General (MS1 – General) position at the Stamford Campus location. This is a permanent, full-time, 1st shift position, with a work schedule of Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., 37.5 hours per week with an unpaid half an hour for lunch.

This position is categorized as Emergency Support Services/Essential Staff. Must be willing to work during emergency closures/delayed openings due to inclement weather or for significant events that affect campus operations. Applicants must also be willing to respond to emergencies on overtime (nights, weekends holidays).

Please note that the candidate selected for this position will primarily be assigned to the Stamford Campus, however, this position will also require the incumbent to perform job duties at any of the Regional Campuses as assigned.
