HVAC Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician with strong experience in commercial HVAC systems. This role requires expertise in handling commercial systems rather than residential ones. The ideal candidate will be customer-facing and must present themselves professionally. You will be operating a service truck, traveling to various client sites to perform repairs and service work on rooftop units.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Identify and independently fix most issues that arise with rooftop units.
• Utilize an iPad to manage invoices and track paperwork.
• Conduct service work on large 20,000-ton units.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in HVAC systems, particularly in preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience in service and repair work.
• Possession of an S2 or D2 License.
• Knowledge in electrical and mechanical systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.

Work Environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middlefield, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
