This position offers an opportunity for a certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized support within a school setting, serving students across multiple grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12). The role is based in a community in Connecticut and involves a contract assignment for the  school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to students, focusing primarily on a high school caseload.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
• Conduct assessments, document progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet student needs.
• Support communication skills development to enhance academic performance and social interaction.

Qualifications:

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist certification.
• Experience working with students across K-12 grade levels, with a particular emphasis on middle and high school populations.
• Strong assessment and intervention skills tailored to diverse student needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary educational team.

Position Details:

• Contract duration:
  August 31, 2026, through June 14, 2027.
• Part-time commitment of approximately 8 hours per week, equivalent to a 0.2 FTE.
