Location: Quinebaug
Overview
We are hiring a full‑time Mechanic for our School Bus Fleet Maintenance department. Founded in 1924, we are a family‑owned transportation company with a fleet of over 1,000 buses transporting students across Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Compensation and BenefitsCompetitive pay ($22.00‑38.38/hr), medical/dental insurance, 401(k) with match, paid time off, certification reimbursement, uniform program, paid training, and ASE certification bonuses.
Primary Duties- Perform preventive maintenance
- Diagnostics and repairs
- Complete paperwork
- Make road calls
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of automotive/truck/bus repair experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Driver’s license
- Physical ability to perform tasks
