CDL A Gasoline Driver

Position Overview

We are Island Transportation, a premier bulk hazmat hauler in the Tri‑State Area, seeking qualified drivers for our Local Terminal to transport gasoline to local gas stations.

• CDL A Driver with a minimum 1 year of tractor‑trailer experience.
• Tanker endorsement (required).
• Hazmat endorsement (preferable).
• TWIC card (preferred).
• Clean CDL and Medical card.
• No prior gasoline experience required; paid training will be provided.

• Inspect and maintain vehicles, perform preventative maintenance.
• Comply with truck rules, regulations, & company policies.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Transport gasoline from the local terminal to gas stations.
• Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections; ensure proof of delivery.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Adhere to local, state, and federal DOT rules and regulations.
