• Scale rock faces and remove loose material to ensure safe working conditions
• Inspect highwalls, benches, and faces to identify potential hazards
• Communicate with equipment operators and supervisors to coordinate scaling activities
• Operate scaling tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Support overall quarry safety and production through proactive hazard mitigation

• Demonstrated ability to work safely in an underground mining or heavy industrial environment
• Strong situational awareness and ability to identify potential hazards
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined or variable conditions
• Ability to use scaling tools and equipment with precision and control
• Effective communication skills and commitment to teamwork

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level

• $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr underground rate
