Scaler Operator

** What You’ll Be Doing
*** Operate scaling equipment to safely remove loose or unstable rock in underground areas.
* Inspect work areas to identify scaling needs and potential hazards.
* Maintain equipment through routine checks and basic servicing.
* Follow all underground safety procedures and site-specific protocols.
* Collaborate with the production team to support efficient and safe operations.
** What We Are Looking For
*** Ability to safely operate heavy or specialized equipment in confined spaces.
* Strong hazard recognition skills, especially related to underground ground control.
* Capacity to follow technical instructions and adapt to changing conditions.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety and operational discipline.
** Conditions of Employment
*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
** Work Environment
*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
** What We Offer*** $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50/hr underground rate
