** What You'll Be Doing
*** Safely operate drilling equipment to support underground quarry production activities.
* Perform drilling operations according to mine plans, production targets, and safety requirements.
* Conduct pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance of drilling equipment.
* Identify and communicate equipment, ground, or safety concerns to supervisors and team members.
* Collaborate with quarry personnel to support efficient and productive underground operations.
** What Are We Looking For
*** Demonstrated ability to safely operate drilling or heavy equipment in an industrial, mining, quarrying, construction, or similar environment.
* Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and compliance with operating procedures.
* Mechanical aptitude with the capability to inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment.
* Ability to read and follow mine plans, work instructions, and safety requirements.
* Dependable work ethic with the ability to adapt to changing operational needs and priorities.
** Conditions of Employment
*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
** Work Environment
*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
** What We Offer*** $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground differential.
