Mobile Mechanic

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment including loaders, haul trucks, and support vehicles.

Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Conduct inspections and maintain accurate service records to support compliance and reliability.

Respond to equipment breakdowns in the field and execute timely repairs.

Collaborate with plant operations to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime.

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair heavy mobile equipment systems (mechanical, hydraulic, electrical)
• Strong commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and reporting systems

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.

• $31.34 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground differential.
• $2,000 Sign‑On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year).
