** What You'll Be Doing
*** Scale loose rock from underground mine walls and ceilings to maintain safe working conditions
* Operate scaling equipment and tools safely and efficiently in confined spaces
* Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify and address potential hazards
* Perform basic equipment checks and communicate maintenance needs
* Collaborate with team members to support safe and productive quarry operations
** What Are We Looking For
*** Demonstrated ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively in underground environments
* Strong safety mindset with the capability to recognize and mitigate hazards
* Ability to follow procedures, communicate clearly, and work as part of a team
* Mechanical aptitude and comfort performing basic equipment inspections
* Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently in physically demanding conditions
** Conditions of Employment
*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
* Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
** Work Environment
*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
** What We Offer*** $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
