What You'll Be Doing- Operate drilling and roof bolting equipment safely and efficiently
- Install roof support systems to maintain underground stability
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment
- Monitor drilling and bolting progress, making adjustments as needed
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Ability to operate and maintain drilling and roof bolting machinery
- Strong focus on safety and compliance standards
- Capability to work in physically demanding underground environments
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving mindset for adapting to changing conditions
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level
What We Offer- $28.76 per hour plus an additional $0.50 per hour underground rate
- $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
