Job Overview

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of assigned production area. The position will ensure material accuracy is maintained for timely delivery of customer products. The Warehouse Supervisor will also enforce the company policies regarding safety, quality, productivity and discipline.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate product inventory by following inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Conduct cycle count inventory processes to ensure accuracy and timely execution
  • Oversee & evaluate stock rotation processes
    • Train staff in product dating & create procedures to eliminate loss
  • Maintain adequate storage for warehouse & on‑site inventory
    • Create space utilization plan
  • Notify planning/purchasing of shortages or other problems that could impact product availability
  • Instruct staff on proper procedures for locating and utilizing product inventory
  • Check orders/picks for accuracy prior to shipment
  • Ensure all material issued to production order/picklists
    • Monitor open picklists
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
Core Competencies

    Strong leadership skills and effective team coordination
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of gauges and their proper use
  • Able to work in a team environment
Preferences
  • Supervisory experience in manufacturing environment, warehouse/inventory preferred
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements
  • This position will be based at our site in Connersville, with minimal anticipated travel.
