The Traffic & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing inbound and outbound shipments within a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate receiving, documentation, inventory transactions, and coordination of transportation to support production schedules and customer deliveries.
What you will be doing- Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments
- Verify, inspect, and receive materials against purchase orders and packing slips
- Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately in ERP/WMS systems
- Schedule freight pickups and deliveries to meet production and customer deadlines
- Communicate shipment status, delays, and discrepancies to relevant teams
- Maintain organized records of bills of lading, invoices, and receiving logs
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards and shipping regulations
- Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and warehouse organization
- High School diploma or GED
- 2+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, logistics, or manufacturing operations
- Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills are required.
- Familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a deadline‑driven environment
- Effective communication and problem‑solving skills
- This position operates in both office and warehouse settings and may require standing, lifting, and coordination with production teams in a manufacturing facility.
- Must be able to read and understand basic commands in English
- Must be able to read, understand, and follow all work and safety instructions
