The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the assigned production area. The position will ensure production schedules are maintained for timely delivery of customer products. The Production Supervisor will also enforce the company policies regarding safety, quality, productivity, and discipline.

• Conduct employee training on equipment operations or work and safety procedures.
• Work with the engineering department and industrial engineer to drive continuous improvement efforts and reduce costs.
• Adjust the production plan in time according to changes in the demand plan.
• Keep equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services.
• Review processes and be involved in implementation and review of procedures, processes, and equipment. Focus on lean improvements to meet production plans.
• Lead problem solving teams to address manufacturing problems.

• High School Diploma or GED
• 3+ years in a production or manufacturing based role
• 3+ years in a leadership role

• Strong leadership skills and effective team coordination
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of gauges and their proper use
• Able to work in a team environment
• Comfortable working in a fast environment

• Supervisory experience in manufacturing environment
• Machining background or knowledge
• Experience reading blueprints

• Onsite in Connersville, IN.
