! We’re looking for full‑time automotive mechanics to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service, repair, and tire sales centers in the Taylorsville, NC area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

As a leader in undercar repairs, our automotive mechanics are trusted to inspect, diagnose, and perform a wide variety of automotive services on customers’ vehicles. They handle undercar repairs—including brakes, struts, and shocks—, complete state‑mandated inspections, change oil and filters, check fluids, replace worn parts, and dismount, mount, rotate, and balance tires.

To be eligible, you must be at least 18 years old, legally authorized to work in the United States, have at least two years of automotive repair and maintenance experience or a combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of this role, and possess a personal toolbox needed for undercar repairs.

• ASE certifications:
  Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair (G1), Suspension and Steering (A4), Brakes (A5)

Mechanics are required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, pull, reach, and perform repeated and repetitive movements consistent with vehicle maintenance. They must regularly lift and move items weighing over 50 pounds.
