Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, purchasing coordination, material staging, and technician support. This role ensures technicians have the right materials at the right time while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse that supports service and installation operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory accuracy, receiving, stocking, staging, and cycle counts
  • Order and track equipment, parts, and materials; follow up on backorders and discrepancies
  • Stage materials and equipment for daily technician schedules
  • Coordinate warranty returns, credits, and unused material returns
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant warehouse environment
  • Build and manage vendor relationships to support pricing, availability, and quality
  • Communicate material availability and delivery timelines with operations and customer service teams
  • Support vehicle, tool, and facility organization as needed
  • Assist with periodic inventory audits and technician truck inventories
Minimum Qualifications Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of warehouse, inventory, or supply chain experience (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or home services preferred)
  • Experience ordering, receiving, and tracking materials using inventory or purchasing systems
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to operate company vehicles
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical warehouse duties
  • Proficient computer proficiency (Microsoft Office and inventory systems)
Preferred
  • Experience supporting field technicians in a service-based environment
  • HVAC or trade-related warehouse experience
  • EPA refrigerant certification or familiarity with HVAC materials
