Position
Full‑Time Asphalt Paver Operator – Conover, NC. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities- Operate asphalt pavers on roads, highways, and bridges.
- Maintain proper depth, grade, and finished cross‑section of asphalt.
- Inspect, clean, and perform minor repairs on equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and report larger issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, company safety procedures, and PPE policies.
- Work collaboratively with crew members and maintain professionalism on site.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift up to 90 lbs, navigate uneven surfaces, and work in varying weather conditions. Flexibility for nights, travel, and minimal supervision is expected. Reliable transportation to and from the Conover office is required.
QualificationsA solid understanding of heavy‑equipment operation and safety standards is essential. Successful applicants will demonstrate attention to detail, situational awareness, and the ability to maintain, inspect, and clean equipment.
Knowledge and Skills Required- 3+ years asphalt paver operation experience, particularly on roads, highways, and bridges.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Conover office; commercial driver license preferred.
