Position DetailsJob Purpose: The CAD frame drawer will be responsible for creating 3D furniture frame models using Solid Works software.
Duties and Responsibilities- Create 3D furniture frames.
- Manage and modify current frame files as needed.
- Work closely with the PD department to create and modify frames.
- Other duties as assigned by the manager.
Heated and cooled, typical office environment.

QualificationsMinimum Experience Requirements: 3+ Years Solid Works 3D Drawing.
Preferred Experience Requirements: 5+ years of Furniture frame drawing in Solid Works.
Minimum
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma and Certification in Solid Works.
Preferred
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in CAD with 3+ years’ experience in Solid Works.
Required Skills: Must be proficient in Sold Works software; must be able to understand the frame drawing process; must be able to work with Product Development to create new and revise old frames; must perform established goals in a fast-paced environment; strict attention to detail; team player; reliable; work with minimum supervision; own reliable transportation; work weekends and overtime; strong communication skills in reading, comprehending, speaking, and writing in English.
Physical& Environmental Requirements
- Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for a minimum of 8 hours per day. Some walking/standing is required.
- Must work in normal conditions of a furniture manufacturing plant (heated and cooled) as well as a typical office environment.
- Must have good vision.
- Must wear required PPE: safety glasses and closed-toe shoes when required.
- Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
