Symbiotic Services is seeking a detail-oriented Specialty CAD Technician to join a fast-paced production environment. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining accurate CAD drawings, developing markers and patterns, and optimizing fabric utilization while supporting production quality and efficiency.

• Create precise technical drawings using CAD software.
• Interpret sketches, diagrams, and verbal instructions to produce accurate CAD drawings.
• Develop and maintain high-quality markers and pattern layouts.
• Verify the accuracy of geometric shapes and part details within the CAD system.
• Lay out patterns and markers using company standards to maximize fabric utilization.
• Print full-size patterns using an Okidata printer.
• Maintain quality and accuracy throughout the drafting process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Experience using CAD software is required, including Formaris and Diamino.
• Experience with LECTRA software is a plus.
• Hand cutting experience is a plus.
• Strong understanding of technical drawing principles and standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to measure and identify fabric repeats.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.

• Ability to work full-time.
• Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
