LOCATION: Plant 5

SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and may vary on a weekly basis.

SUMMARY

Sew complete cover which includes flatwork, cushions, ottomans, and pillows.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Operating industrial sewing machine to sew cushion to meet production schedule
• Working with complex leather need to be very detailed and quality minded
• Work from tickets to ensure accuracy from customer order to product
• Responsible for being efficient and meeting quality standards
• Turning and inspection on all welted, and blind seam cushions
• Take apart repairs, trim, resew
• All other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Furniture cushion Sew Experience 3 years minimum (Leather Preferred)
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge a plus
• Will use computers at workstation for sew specifications to ensure quality is met per customer orders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to work full time.

• Effective communication skills

• Good organizational skills and detailed oriented

• Basic Computer Skills.

• Must be able to lift/handle/carry 25 lbs. +

• Long periods of sitting (minimum 10 hour per day)

• Able to work independently.
