DEPARTMENT: Sewing
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
LOCATION: Sewing Department Plant 5
SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm Fridays - 6:00 am - 11:00 am
Overtime may be required beyond the posted work schedule and/or a varied schedule may be required per business needs.

SUMMARY
The Sewing Coordinator will report to the Sewing Manager.
Issuing work to sewers as needed to keep up with production schedule.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Tracking orders in sewing to meet the department on time performance.
• Making sure all Rush pieces, S-List as well as LTL loads get out as scheduled.
• Work is handed out and matched up by the date and load and taken to the next
department
• Follow up on orders held in production.
• Assist Sewing Lead and Sewing Manager about orders in the department.
• Working off of reports:
Back Log, Market Samples, Repairs, Work in Progress to
insure the output of product.
• All other job duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES
• Must have furniture experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Basic Computer Skills PC and AS400 knowledge helpful
• Able to handle multiple tasks.
• Able to work with different types of personalities and different levels of management.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work full-time.
• Good organizational skills
• Detailed oriented.
EFFORT
• Able to lift/carry/handle at least 25 lbs.
• Long periods of standing/walking minimum 10 hours daily
• Able to work independently.
