Pay: $18–$20/hr - Starting Pay

• Upholster fabric and leather furniture
• Secure materials using staple guns, air ratchets, and drills
• Match cover materials to appropriate furniture frames
• Upholster all frame components according to specifications
• Read and follow production instructions, including details such as leg color, welt, tack, springs, and other custom requirements
• Correct defects such as crooked seams or staple inconsistencies
• Perform visual quality inspections on completed work
• Complete additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

• Frequently lift furniture ranging from 10–75 lbs
• Occasional bending, pushing, and pulling
• Frequent overhead reaching while operating a 10 lb air gun
• Continuous standing for 8–10 hour shifts

• Must be able to safely use air tools including staple gun, air racket, drill, and blower
• Ability to work with welt on front post
• Ability to assemble frame and/or mechanisms to the frames as required
• Ability to inspect work as being upholstered, including sewing mistakes and bad leather or fabric
• Physical strength to pull hard materials onto the frame for long periods of time
• Must check seams and quality when a piece is complete
