Job Title:Material Handler Department:Supply Chain
FLSA:Hourly Non-Exempt Status: Full Time
Reports to:Supply Chain Manager

40 hours per week; hours may be extended when workload is increased (6pm-2am)
The Receiver & Material Handler is responsible for engaging in receiving, inspection, non-inventory items & inventory control activities including handling, disposition, cycle counting, and transactions of inbound and raw material, purchased component inventory, and outsourced materials.
Duties and Responsibilities- Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
- Reviews deliveries for quality and accuracy; reviews accompanying documents for accuracy.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Prepares and maintains records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information.
- Maintains integrity of inventory movement by utilizing E1 system to complete transactions.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and reporting any necessary repairs.
- Operates forklifts and other machinery to move items on the production floor and on/off trucks.
- Assist in weekly/monthly/yearly cycle counts.
- Complete all receiving functions of product, raw material, and pallets.
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
- Other duties to assist Supply Chain department functions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and adapt quickly to change.
- Competent and knowledgeable in computer systems.
- Strong organizational and follow-up skills. Must be able to recognize priorities and have strong attention to detail.
- Additional duties as assigned

- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office, with proficiency in Excel
- Ability to learn and adapt to various operating systems and software

- Ability to analyze data and understand connections
- Ability to work independently, as well as to collaborate in a team environment; strong interpersonal skills
