Feeder/Finisher Packer
About the Role
We are hiring a Feeder/Finisher Packer to support daily production and packaging operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This hands-on position involves preparing materials, handling production rolls, identifying board grades, banding finished products, operating a roll pusher, and maintaining a clean and safe work area.
Day and Night shift available!
The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working around industrial machinery and production equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare rolls and materials for production
- Split and prepare cores according to production requirements
- Identify and verify different board grades
- Band finished rolls and materials securely
- Operate a roll pusher safely and efficiently
- Assist with feeding and finishing production processes
- Move and stage materials as needed
- Perform general housekeeping throughout the production area
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all production procedures and safety guidelines
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality issues
- Communicate production or quality concerns to supervisors
- Work as part of a team to meet production goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Previous manufacturing, production, packaging, warehouse, or material handling experience preferred
- Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to identify different grades and types of production materials
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to follow all required safety procedures and wear PPE
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive production and packaging tasks
- Ability to bend, reach, lift, and move materials as required
- Ability to work around moving machinery and industrial equipment
- Ability to work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment
- Must be able to wear required PPE throughout the workday
