, a global leader in innovative packaging solutions, is seeking a Production Manager to join our Protective Films & Coatings manufacturing facility in Conover, North Carolina. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence across a 24/7 manufacturing operation while leading and developing a team of supervisors and approximately 60-70 production employees.

What You'll DoAs Production Manager, you'll provide overall leadership for plant production operations, ensuring excellence in:
- Safety & Environmental Stewardship
- Product Quality & Customer Satisfaction
- Productivity & Operational Performance
- Employee Development & Accountability
You'll lead through your supervisors to create a culture focused on safety, performance, engagement, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Lead production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity goals
- Champion a world-class safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze KPIs including uptime, throughput, downtime, quality, and labor utilization to identify improvement opportunities
- Develop and execute corrective actions that improve operational performance and reduce waste
- Partner cross-functionally with Maintenance, Quality, Planning, Engineering, and other departments
- Drive standardization through SOPs, process controls, and Lean manufacturing principles
- Ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction through efficient production planning and execution
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors while building a strong talent pipeline for the future
- Promote accountability, employee engagement, and performance management throughout the organization
- Support cost savings initiatives that improve profitability and operational efficiency
- Leading large manufacturing teams and developing future leaders
- Creating structure, discipline, and sustainable processes
- Using data to solve problems and improve performance
- Building a culture centered on safety, quality, and continuous improvement
- Working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented manufacturing environment
- Making a visible impact on business results every day
- Bachelor's degree required;
Engineering degree preferred - 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Proven experience leading supervisors and manufacturing teams
- Strong understanding of operational metrics, continuous improvement, and manufacturing best practices
- Experience with KPI analysis, process improvement, and performance management
- Knowledge of budgeting, workforce planning, and business operations
- Experience with web handling, adhesive coating, or solvent coating processes is highly preferred
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and advanced Excel; SAP experience is a plus
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
