Assembly​/Wiring Technician

Job Description:

An Assembly/Wiring Technician is responsible for safely installing components and wiring devices in Protective Relay Panels and various types of enclosures.

Job Responsibilities:

Wiring and installing relays, electrical components and various types of devices in Protective Relay Panels Adhere to safety protocols and properly use personal protective equipment such as eye protection, gloves, hearing protection, footwear

Work independently or with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency to meet the customer’s schedule and produce a product of the highest standard of quality

Adhere to company policies and rules

Assuring that all products meet the highest standard of quality

Using hand and power tools safely and with care

Job Requirements:

Education:

High school diploma or GED

Experience:

Preferably a basic knowledge of electricity but not required. Training will be provided. Knowledge of various types of hand and power tools but not required. Training will be provided

The ability to lift 50 pounds

Be punctual and reliable

Willingness to learn and able to retain knowledge

Basic reading, writing and math skills

Maintaining a clean and safe environment

Have a positive attitude towards your job and team members

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and managers

Work Environment:

This position is in an assembly area in a warehouse environment. Employee will be responsible for moving, lifting, organizing and installing materials to effectively and efficiently to produce a superior product.
