Job Title: Senior Accountant (Contract – 6 Months)

Location: North Houston, TX

Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite/Hybrid (based on company needs)

Duration: 6-Month Contract

We are seeking a Senior Accountant for a 6‑month contract opportunity with a growing organization in North Houston. This role is ideal for a hands‑on accounting professional with strong reconciliation expertise, experience in multi‑entity environments, and a background in cost accounting within manufacturing. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in financial reporting, analysis, and supporting process improvements across the accounting function.

• Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes across multiple entities (7 total)
• Manage and analyze inventory and cost accounting (standard costing environment)
• Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and variance analyses
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (operations, supply chain, FP&A) to ensure accurate financial data
• Assist with system enhancements, automation initiatives, and process improvements
• Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
• Utilize Net Suite for daily accounting operations and reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including senior‑level responsibilities
• Strong experience with account reconciliations (highly preferred)
• Experience working in a multi‑entity environment
• Background in manufacturing and cost accounting

• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
